Character No.2:Susan

A litte sadder...

Susan lives alone, in a large 1 roomed apartment beneath a large shopping mall. This apartment is known by locals as the ‘car park underneath the shopping centre’ due to its’ designated function as a place for them to leave their means of transport while they buy goods. Susan however, would like to contend, that as she deposited her red rug in space 12E that it should be known as her apartment. She wears raggedy, grey sweaters, and holey skirts, though she maintains it’s an artistic choice. Her hair wisps around her shoulders, almost gliding along her neck. She used to be an artist, living in an apartment, selling just enough to keep living. Going to trendy bars to party with her artsy friends. Until one day she stopped selling, stopped going to the trendy bars, was thrown out of the loft with no where to go, and one by one the artsy friends drifted away, whether into the fabric of the city or into other lives completely. And so it was that this once creative, alive mind, flickered out in an underground carpark, wrapped in a red carpet.

Character No.1: George

I like making up people in my head. I often find that once I start writing, I can usually get to a pretty random place quite fast. So I've decided to start writing short character profiles and post them here. It's just a bit of fun and maybe I'll use some of them one day.

George is a young gentleman, George is about 5’7, he has a small white goatee and a shock of mauve hair that sprouts from his head like a turnip in a Feudal Field. He attends circus school where he is studying unicycling with a view to becoming a reviewer of unicycles on the television. George enjoys cool jazz and knitting tea cozies. Every morning at approximately 9.AM he ventures from his apartment located in 9th Boulevard and makes his way across the road to a large potato sculpture, he purchases a coffee from the street vendor located near by and climbs on top of the potato where he sips the coffee and basks in the sunlight. He will then venture from this spot down to a small patisserie three streets away. From here he purchases a lemon tart quarter and a potato scroll. He munches away on these tasty items as he saunters to the circus school, located just a few more streets away. As he walks through the door, licking the last few crumbs of potato from his lips, he hears the whistle of the Circus Teacher Steve’s lips pursing together, summoning his charges to another day beneath his thumb. George sighs, kicks his outside shoes off, pulls on his unicycling cleats, steeling himself for another hard day astride his one wheeled bike.

Blast for the Future

So, it's been almost a year since I've even been on this, which means I can safely assume that the nine people that follow this blog have either died, or taken up professional spelunking following a terrifying near death experience. All I can say is that I'm not sorry, I don't regret my decision not to blog, and that I'm very interested to find out what kind of wage a professional spelunker earns.

So here's why I'm blogging, Firstly I can do it whenever I want, the most common reason for me not vlogging each week is that my brother is around, whenever I want to, not only would he mock the crap outta me for it, but I just feel awkward making a video when I know other people can hear. Secondly because I'm taking English this year, and I want to write more, I feel like writing a little something everyday can only improve my ability to churn out quality writing (I can do the churning, it's the quality I'm looking for) . So I may spruce this up with some wanky metaphors, a short story or two, we'll see how it goes.

Hopefully I'll try and keep these posts short, so not to subject you to the horrendously dull tedium of my shockingly empty life. In news that excites only me, I am the proud owner of an alluring new macbook, it's shiny, curvaceous and is the sexiest thing since Tim-Tams (original flavour- the rest are just trying to ruin a good thing) it has an alluring four gigs of ram, and a graphics card that's doing its' level best to represent a car number plate. So far I haven't even been able to strain it, it's been as fast as a speeding bullet on everything I've asked it to do.

That's quite enough of that for now I think.

so i haven't blogged in a while. Some people know that i'm crap with routine. It's just not the way i work. I go through spates of doing things and setting things up and then i just drop them. I work in mysterious ways so suck it up. :) that being said i'll only do this on occasion mostly i prefer to vlog my thoughts. I think i'm better at vlogging than blogging so i'll try and do more of those gawd i really need to plan my videos. Write a script of some description so they actually say what i want them to say. I need to stop being the kid who makes vaguely interesting videos.

I want to compel people to think to to act and to take notice of what i say.

Thats what i think the modern world needs to be about. It's time to drop our colorful exterior and shape up. We've spent to long with our condiments, our televisions and our gadgets. We spend to long teaching our kids how to set there hair right and to little time schooling them in the art of taking action. I'm as much a guilty party in this as anyone. I'm an intensely shy person. We all need to stand up voice our ideas and our soul get people to listen to who we are and what we want heard. We are each great individuals and have our own wonderful opinions but they need to be allowed to take shape. Action is what allows us to build our opinions. The courage to read the news, to accept that the world isn't sunshine and roses. The humanity to realize that other humans will never be inspired will never hear the lifting words of hope and opportunity that we are all exposed to. We get told to stand up for others and to heed the call to the take the arms of the weak and hoist them on high. While this is good advice it's a fair leap. The beginning needs to be everyone standing up for themselves, if your own house is falling down and you need to keep propping it up it's very hard to go help your neighbor keep his standing. So have the courage to not just face but defeat your aggressors, those things in your life that keep you from being who you truly are. Conquer your meekness your shyness your phobias and then we can hoist the disadvantaged to our loftily obtained pastures

Hot

It's so damn hot in australia right now. Bushfires all over the place 100 estimated dead in victoria. 38-43 degrees all over the place. Ice is not optional in water, the glasses are to hot so the water comes out luke warm.

It was my friends birthday party this weekend so went over to his house with a bunch of others and we spent our time in one of two places.

1. In the heavily air conditioned rumpus room

2. The river, which was really nice, jumping off high rocks is always fun :)

To hot to think anymore :) Byes

2 Strumpet i love this word because people don't till you tell them that your insulting them
3 Multitude this one is just fun

If course there are more but you know....

It's to darn hot

I don't know if anyone knows this but we are currently experience a major heat wave. Temperatures exceeding 35 on most days, thats very very hot and it seems even hotter when the days go back to back like they are now. I watched the tennis last night and was somewhat disappointed with it. Serena just had it way to easy. Thrashed Safina 6-0 6-3 for those that didn't know. Hopefully the mens final tonight will be a somewhat closer affair *Fingers crossed*.

If you don't believe in climate change you only have to look at the polarisation(Seamy speel gud) of the weather at the moment. On the one hand you've got australia sweltering and then you've got america experiencing some of the worst snow storms ever. It shows the extremes to which our world can now go.

I've got a science assign and maths hwk to do, unfortunately i left my maths books at school :( so now i'm going to have to go in early and do the hwk on monday morning. I really don't know what to do with the rest of the day, it's to hot to really do much outside. Perhaps i'll play some fable or gears. Might even rev up the old COD3. Might make a video if i can get the right conditions (Ie no one around) but i've got no topics to do it on. Guess i could do one on the heatwave.

I've actually been fiddling around on xtranormal.com a fair bit, it's kinda fun making up random conversations between the two 'Actors'. I might make one and upload it to youtube later :)

For those coming from somewhere other than youtube here is mine youtube.com/seamalicous (hope i spelt that right) well this blog has been quite fun to write and hope you guys enjoyed it.

Byes!
